Wagar Middle School is currently piloting the use of a reading challenge entity called Beanstack. Beanstack is a web and mobile application used to track independent reading time to help build a culture of reading in school and at home. Students are encouraged to participate in monthly reading challenges. Each challenge requires that the students read and log their reading minutes, number of pages read and/or books read and complete accompanying activities. Top readers are recognized each month. During the summer Wagar will be participating in the Beanstack Level Up national reading challenge. Watch for more information. the challenge begins June 1st.
